Portland, OR New Memeber

Hi Everyone,

Ordered my 718 boxster last week (Porsche Code: PJYENC29, won't let me post link...). Really looking forward to being able to drive it before the rainy season(s) hit.

My last sports car was an 2001 S2000. The 718 is a nice upgrade over that .

Welcome to the forums and congratulations. What's the ETA on it?

Lava orange is definitely a beautiful color though.

My car actually locked the same day I ordered (they had an order about to lock and switched it to my car). U007 Exit port San Diego of 09/01/2017. I was told they are usually ahead of schedule and that I could get my car in August... Keeping my fingers crossed.

@Pythonposse Where in the Portland area are you? I'm in the west hills (cedar mill) area.

ETA is 09/01. But was told it might come earlier.

@Pythonposse What side of town are you on. I'm on the west side (cedar mill) area. Maybe we can get lunch together .

Camas. Lunch sometime would be good. I don't mind driving places as I still need to put about 1000 more miles on the car to finish engine break-in.

That time should fly by but the anxiety may be the kicker haha. Interested to hear your opinion on how it fairs against the S2000 as they're both driver oriented vehicles that you'll have to play with!
