Who knows I think the salesman was just flat out dumb and never read the inspection report. It clearly state its in the inspection report, so its not like it was not documented. Once the guy actually looked at it, he saw the picture with the inspection report.

It might be a great car that truly does just have cosmetic damage. PPI would hopefully solve the problem

@Taxdr1965 : My experience of Porsche dealers in the U.K is that nothing with even the most minor of cosmetic damage ever makes it onto the garage forecourt. They must obviously take in the occasional car with such damage, but any issues are fully rectified before a vehicle is ever offered for sale. As for the dealer offering to fix this damage at their cost? Er yeah, darn right they would, who else did they think was going to pay for it? At best they come across as incompetent & unprofessional & I personally could never put my faith in such a bunch of clowns. In your position I'd be inclined just to keep looking & to do so elsewhere.

Just know that although not as common as a Toyota Camry, the car isn't exactly that rare either. There is little reason to compromise. Also, since you're the one with the cash, you're the one that is in the most control of the deal. You can walk away and look for another.

May the number of surfaces exceed the number of dives by at least one

Speed Yellow or Racing Yellow? I've seen you reference both, but they're not the same color. In fact, finding a Speed Yellow 718 would've been a Paint To Sample (PTS) order
