Anyone have any experience with one or both of these Griot's products? Foaming surface wash and Foaming Poly Gloss.

This all reminds me of how I used to wash my Honda Prelude many moons ago.

Hose off car
Squirt dish soap into bucket, fill with water.
Dunk sponge into bucket. Clean dirt off car.
After a few passes, wonder why the wash water looks so dirty
Hose off
Towel-dry with an old scratchy bath towel

And yes I even used to take it to automatic car washes.

The horror!

Well, I knew all about this ... well, ... after you posted the video

Makes so much sense and paint stirrer is numero uno on my "grocery list" for tomorrow.

Mucho thanks!

I bought the slightly longer 5 gal version (20 inches) for our deeper washing buckets.

Another thought provoking video by Dallas Paint Correction & Auto Detailing......making my stock pile of Simple Green car wash soap seem like a wise investment. At the present time I us Simple Green only for the wheels/rims but...........

Very impressed with Modesta M2. It's designed for use over ceramic coatings as a light cleaner and shine enhancer. After washing and drying both my 718s today, I sprayed the M2 on and wiped off with a microfiber, and it definitely added a bit of luster and shine. (Both my cars have Modesta BC-04 coatings.)

It's really expensive at $35 for a small bottle, but I did both cars today and only used 2/3 of the bottle.

There's probably no point to using it if you don't have your car coated, but if you do have a ceramic coating, it may be worth a try.

Will be trying this washboard attachment for the grit guard and if anyone has some experience with this product please comment. Looks like it could be useful.
