A/C fan

Anyone had any trouble with the A/C fan ? I have been overseas and returned after a month to cold NZ temperatures. Went to turn on fan and "nothing". There is a change in temperature in the cabin but the fan/blower is not delivering the heat ! Fuse is fine. Not much fun driving in winter temperatures with the window lowered to stop condensation .

Eeek! Tough going, you'd need heat down there right now. Even the Auto button etc does nothing?

Any resolution to this? this morning I started the car and same thing. Fuse was ok. It was like the blower motor just didn't have any power.

The fan won't work until the engine heats up enough to run the heater. (That's why the seat and steering wheel heaters are nice.)

I the fan won't work at all it's time for a warranty visit.

Easy way is to press the "Hurricane button", if the fan does not spin then something is wrong

For the fun of it.....

I'm in Miami, FL. the heater is not an issue. I googled around and found that the brushes in the fan motor stick if left alone for a bit. it had been maybe a week since i'd driven it. If you open the frunk, take off the plastic cover and then the plastic cover for the cabin filters you can see the blower fan. stick your hand in and give it a whirl and then it starts working fine. I'll mention it to the dealer but i'm pretty sure they're going to say that since they can't replicate the problem, it doesn't exist.

For real? It's 2019 and a company like Porsche can't make a reliable electric motor?

I was talking to my neighbor and he told me he has a similar problem with his sprinter van. he's on his third fan motor.
