Here is a stock GT2-RS actually hitting 356kph/221mph on the autobahn. As typically is the case, the performance figures quoted by Porsche are lower than the actual figures.

Yeah, I saw that review on Top Gear by Chris Harris, who was the Chief Test Driver for Autocar. Don't think I'd dare drive it. The 'best 911 ever made', 'goes better than any hypercar'. Quite an investment for Porsche 2018 I'd say. Anyway, I thought Mrs 2018 had or was getting a baby Cayman to keep Mr 2018 acquainted with the real world.

Edit: Oh, and I forgot, he also said it's known as 'the widow maker' so drive careful. We'd miss you.

Thanks Peter, though, sad to say my wife defected for a Beamer.....she was intrigued with the self parking and I think she preferred the Beamer anyway. I was hoping to get a Guards 718 CS but now I am looking at either a GT4 or a Mercedes AMG-GTR.......time will tell.
I guess, when it comes down to it, some of us like the understated image of a winged mobile.

I guess if you have a GT2-RS you still need a "beater" ....AWESOME!

Have you considered a Subaru Impreza STi? They have one of the most understated wings on the planet! A 4 cyl turbo too, so you won't miss the 4 cyl boxer noise!... Not as understated as other 4-cyl turbo boxers, I might add...

Although, I feel these reviewers can be shills for the car companies based upon my experience it's all true.

"This might just be the greatest fast 911 ever built."**

**that is, for the time being; there will always be faster 911s produced over time.

The 718 is a great car no doubt......the 2RS is a tad faster but there are no ultimate fast(est) car, and with time the 2RS will be considered, well, meh.
