Greetings from the UK (still an EU member! ?)
Where do i start? acquired a Porsche Approved/Used 718 Boxster a few months ago. 2016 model with 28k miles done. it was supposed to be a weekend car but i've done around 4k miles on it already. my first ever Porsche. has PDK.
I tend to name my cars and this one is Pippa. i love every bit of her. won't point out any negatives because that would mean to think hard but boy is she fun!!
i've seen every 718 Boxster video on you tube (sorry for being so sad ?). it doesn't bother me at all not being a smooth 6 or 8 cylinder. the vehicle sounds great and is fast enough.
my first ever mid engine too. what an experience. turns like a bicycle !
just enough power to make me smile and not s*** myself.
proud to have one.
pls keep sending us sunshine here pls, thanks. handles much better when the tyres and tarmac are warm(er).
at times the engine makes a profound ticking sound, usually when cold started after a day or two and then it disappears. i'm told by Porsche Cambridge that it's a feature of the engine and nothing to worry about.
was thinking of getting CarPlay installed. my car has voice thingie so then it costs around 950 GBP. still thinking whether I should or not, but am tempted since i'm used to using CarPlay.
surely, i shall get to know you guys more and perhaps meet up some day....you never know.
