Just giving this a bump, but I'm sure we've not heard a report of this previously. Please let us know how things turn out.

Hopefully you got a good loaner from your dealer...

If this post is legit: Sorry, OP. Defective parts happen. Considering the nature of our cars, 10 days isn't that long of a wait for parts from across the pond. Hope they solve your issue.

If this post is not legit: No offense, OP, but your choice of screen name is quite poor if the car's fixed. Slash-and-dash posters are not welcome in any forum community. Please either change your screen name (doubtful that you can unless you set up another account) and plan to contribute beyond your current issue or find another forum to troll on.

I was wondering the same thing and whole heartedly agree with your advise to the OP. I did note the unfortunate circumstances as well as the dubious screen name choice. Also, no offense to the OP.:D

Sorry to all if my login name has offended anyone. Not the intention. Sure can can understand my frustration given the car is 4 weeks old and has 1600 Km’s on it. Trying to see how I can change the name or re-subscribe

It probably wasn't the best choice of name, but I can understand why you might be a little frustrated. However as Viffermike stated defective parts happen & as with all car manufacturers many electrical parts are actually sourced elsewhere. I'm not saying that is the case in this instance but it is a possibility. Either way it's just one of them things, unfortunately no matter how much care is taken once in a while s--t just happens. I hope you get your car fixed soon & welcome to the forum. But please try to do something about that name. ;)
half year ago, a german cayman owner wrote about start up problems at the beginning and following massiv went off electronic parts. The service found at beginning not really the main source for that. After changing of electronic and electric parts the problems popped up again some times.
The problem they found on end, a loose connection of the battery main wire (-) on chassis.

I believe @718Admin can help you with this. I know I've seen screen name changes performed on other AutoGuide Forums. Try sending them a PM with what you'd like for a new screen name.

Best of luck getting your car back on the road.
