First impression, I like the interior, but still not satisfied. It seems too neutral in both colour schemes shown below. I've always been a fan of the all red interiors that were sported in prior Caymans, 911s, etc. Possibly even take styling cues such as the door "straps" out of the 911 GT3 RS. Throw a few bits of carbon-fiber dash trim into the mix perhaps? Not too sure... Check out the photos below, maybe you'll agree with me?

I actually like the interior. I do agree with you that a few bits of carbon would help, but I think a red interior would be a bit too much. The door "straps" would have been overkill. I don't look at this as a track-spec vehicle.

Only trim I would care for door straps on is the GT4 version:

BUT with the BMW M4 GTS on the market, also rocking door straps, it might not happen, Porsche might not want to seem like they're copying BMW:

Personally, I prefer the straps in the M4 GTS, looks a lot nicer when they hang down like that.. especially what looks to be like accent piping, gives it a certain tone

I don't car about the straps either way as long as I have a functional method of closing the door. What's more important is how everything flows and if the console looks clustered which it doesn't. Porsche did a great job with the interior design on this.
