Hi, 3 month old Boxster GTS. When checking the oil level on the dash display using the right hand joy stick I continuously get the following message " Oil Level Display Currently Unavailable".
This started 3 days ago. Previous to that the level would display with a message that the oil level is correct.
Any idea why this feature would stop working?

Are you warming the car up first before checking? I believe that is a requirement.

For an accurate reading the car needs to be at operating temperature with the engine stopped long enough for the oil to drain down--usually about 2 minutes.

Try checking after re-fueling and before re-starting.
