hi friends,
my 718 base cayman with PDK and sport exhaust makes a hollow sound when I moderately accelerate. the hollow sound appears between 2000 and 3000 rpm and seems to come from the exhaust. when stationary there is no such sound. the noise is not apparent when I accelerate rapidly.
is that a normal sound, nothing to worry about or should I get concerned. Other than that the Cayman is a dream of a car.

How many miles do you have up?
The hollow sound is standard on new pipes until they get a coating of carbon. You can expect the sound to improve (IMO) up to a few thousand miles.
