Yesterday, I ordered my 2019 Cayman 2.0L. This will be my 5th Cayman......08 CS, Cayman R, 2014 Cayman 2.7L, and current 2016 2.7L. Build Date is targeted for early October. Details follow:

I live in Florida....heated steering wheel not high on the list for me :). I did consider the multi function wheel (in fact did some test driving in one) and I actually prefer not having all the controls on the wheel. We have had many Audis in the family (8) and most of them are multi function wheels.



This is the 2nd time I have ordered a dark blue metallic Cayman.......long story why it will be the first I actually take delivery of.......

I live in central Texas so the heated function is only occasionally used as well but I like being able to handle calls through the steering wheel and I programed the extra function button to advance music tracks plus volume control, navigation through the multifunction display, etc.

You clearly have made up your mind so my additional post is for those that are still speccing their 718s and are looking for recommendations. My feelings after having had the multifunction steering wheel for 9 months is that it is both useful, and provides a higher level of safety by not having to divert your eyes from the road while multitasking.
