Via Porsche USA PR - The 2021 Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman models - Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG Press Database

Basically, $2400 price increase over 2020 but with some additional standard features. PDK now available on all 4.0 models.

Atlanta, Georgia. For the 2021 model year in the U.S., many of the 718 Boxster and Cayman models are receiving a comprehensive list of upgraded standard features. All standard 718 Boxster and Cayman models, as well as the T, S and GTS 4.0 variants, will come standard with automatic two-zone climate control, heated front seats and auto-dimming mirrors with rain sensor for the new model year. Additionally, Apple CarPlay® as well as bi-xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) (bi-xenon in Black with PDLS for GTS 4.0) will become standard features. Prices start at $59,900 for the 718 Cayman, and $62,000 for the 718 Boxster, not including the $1,350 delivery, processing and handling fee. As before, all models come standard with a six-speed manual transmission, and can be optionally fitted with a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.

Now available to order: the 2021 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 and 718 Cayman GTS 4.0
First shown at the beginning of the year, the new 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 and 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 are now available to order for the 2021 model year and expected to reach U.S. dealers at the end of 2020. The 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 will be priced starting at $86,800, while the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 has an MSRP of $88,900, each not including the $1,350 delivery, processing and handling fee. Both models are powered by a 4.0 liter, naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine producing 394 hp and 309 lb.-ft. of torque. Paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, both models can reach 60 mph from standstill in as little as 4.3 seconds, and reach a top track speed of 182 mph. Typical for a GTS model, many performance features are standard, including Sport Seats Plus, the Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust System, PASM Sport Suspension, a mechanical limited-slip differential with Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and 20-inch wheels painted in satin black.

Optional: 7-speed PDK for 718 Cayman GT4, 718 Spyder and 718 GTS 4.0 models
For the first time, the 718 Cayman GT4, 718 Spyder as well as the 718 GTS 4.0 models will be optionally available with the 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. This transmission offers the potential for quicker acceleration through rapid and seamless shifts. Six-cylinder 718 variants ordered with this option are expected to reach U.S. dealers in early 2021.

So in the UK there has been no major changes apart from the following:

Python Green added
Sport Tex deleted
Heated seats standard

No biggy for me as heated seats here in the UK are only £280. Something to note though is the configurator states that PDK is currently the only option available at this time. Maybe they're running short of manual gearboxes.

Everything else remains the same.

by third rad if you mean the front center radiator, then the base and S never had one as far i know.
Oh yes they have had, at least S did get one with the sport design package. (high gloss)
I had it on my Cayman S :)
Also if you live in a a hot country like Saudi or such chances ar that you will get one for free.

And no more high gloss black for Sport Design package or Side Vents.
Good! I bought a car with Sport Design, high gloss black vents and high gloss black window trim....The intakes got chipped up first week of ownership. Looked like ****, so I bought some normal ones from Suncoast and had them installed...They had to remove the rocker panels to get those muthas off, what a PITA.

Yes, we saw the U-tube vid where the guy pops them off with his fist. It doesn't work like that in real life.

The normal ones are pure black plastic, not painted. They are matte finish and don't scratch if a small rock or something gets deflected to these side intakes, which seems to happen quite a bit.

Carbon ceramic brakes not available on builds after Oct 2020.
This has been discussed a bit more in depth on Rennlist. I will summarize the findings there. At first it was theorized that this was because on all 718 models below the Spyder and GT4 they would be replaced with PSCB, the tungsten carbide surface coated brakes like on the Cayenne and Macan, this has been debunked:

Per Evo X in the GT4/Spyder forum.

"Nice theories guys, but let clear things up with the official reasoning since I work for Porsche.

1) There are no plans to introduce PSCB to 718 model range at this time.

2) The PCCBs are being discontinued in the 718 base, T, S, and GTS because they use the smaller older gen system which has exceeds the legal limit for copper content post 2020.

The GT4 and Spyder use the newer larger setup which is still in compliance. These are planned to exclusively stay on 718 GT products and will not make their way down to others as an option. So if you spec one of the first 2021 GTS 4.0 allocations with ceramics, you will have a unicorn."

Just went on the US configurator. For 2021, BLACK dials for all 3 gauges are shown as standard on the Boxster S. Switched over to Cayman S, and configurator shows the SILVER tach remains as standard. Strange..... Porsche should scrap that silver tach on all models once and for all. It's horrible. I find it very difficult to see in certain lighting conditions. Screenshots of the Boxster S and Cayman S from the configurator.

If I have made an order on June and manufacturer claims that build time is at the last quarter of 2021 and I'll probably get my car at 2021. Will I get the 2021 changes (if there are any for the cayman) or is it just for orders/build dates of 2021?

This is most likely region and territory dependent, so best to speak to your local dealer or representative.

2021 spec is up on the NZ configurator. Prices decreases across the board - up to NZ $8,000 saving on both the GT4 and Spyder - and folding buckets no longer available as an option.

The former is good news for new buyers, less so for current owners. Sad about the latter as I had these as my seat of choice on my preferred Spyder build (should it ever happen)....

Haven't dug too deep yet, but these were the first things I noticed. Oh and Miami Blue is still available on the non-GT cars.
