What are your thoughts on using the following tire setup on a 718 Cayman S no PASM, stock 20” non forged wheels, for everyday use. Please bear into mind that where I live there are more potholes than smooth roads. Running on 20s with 35-series non-RFT rubber is a big enough risk, therefore was making up options ...

Therefore I had been considering the following setup:

245/35 Front on the stock 20”x8” wheel
275/35 Rear on the stock 20”x10” wheel

Stock 20” setup:
Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2
OEM OEM
235 35 20 265 35 20
81 94 (sidewall)
241.30 271.78 (sect width)
220.98 241.3 (tread width)
675.64 693.42 (diameter)
Diameter differences (rear over front): +17.78mm or +2.63%

Alternative 20” setup:
Pilot Super Sport
245 35 20 275 35 20
86 97 (sidewall)
248.92 276.86 (sect width)
238.76 246.38 (tread widt)
680.72 701.04 (diameter)
Diameter differences: +20.32mm or +2.99%

(*) Diameter differences for OEM 19”: +22.86mm or +3.41%

The front to rear differences seem to be within OEM specs, therefore there should be no problems associated with ABS or traction control.
Therefore it is possible to gain an extra cushion of 5mm front and 7mm rear ... is it worth ?
