Wrapped the 2k run-in this weekend and went out for a short lunch time drive today. Finally got to plant my foot on the go pedal a few times. Maybe the Boxster GTS isn't as fast a Z06 or other super cars, but yeap, it's plenty fast enough. You sure get to license troubling speeds in a jiffy and effortlessly. Time to start looking for some track days so I can really drive it and not risk an unwanted hit to the wallet or worse.


No concerns with the noise from the engine either, but like a good Boxster owner I had the top down so maybe the wind noise covered it up.

I still recall the day I was driving when I looked down and realized my odometer was reading "2003" (miles).

i found my patience was bring tried in the last few hundred miles. not that I hadn't been firm with the pedal and pushed past the 4k rpm mark a few times, but nothing to serious or sustained. So getting out yesterday and flooring it a few times was a blast!
