I'd love a Spyder RS. The performance, gorgeous shape, the incorporated GTS-type suspension and not having the intakes under the roof, etc. But an allocation and cost over my GTS (plus any ADM)?
And the monster under the bed, no MT.
Thinking of doing the DeMan Motorsport 4.5L conversion. Rebuilding and enlarging the engine plus putting on their shorter gear set is around $40, 000. He says the suspension of the GTS is more than adequate.
Relative to the Spyder I've got the allocation, I'll have more HP, I'll save some money and I'll have the shorter gearing.
And it'll have an MT!!!!!
I'm out of warranty January '26. Thinking of doing it fall '25 and taking a foliage run through New England before driving back to Montana.
