I agree with the members that said it would be a sunk cost. When you factor in the 40k plus the probable added depreciation it's an expensive proposition. Sometimes we do things we want instead of things we should...We all do it! As far as paying ADM on a Spyder RS, I would not do it either and if a manual transmission is a top priority I don't why you would even consider a RS. I am not a manual transmission guy (even if I've owned manuals for about 8 years) but I know how passionate the manual crowd is. For me it's no for both options. There are other options, you just have to focus elsewhere not only on these two options. I've made this mistake before focusing only on two options when there are so many out there. Three Pedal mentionned a driving lesson, keeping your car. There are a lot of other options.
