So I live in an apartment complex with very tight carports. My carport 'neighbor' gave me a parking dent a few weeks back so I've been pulling very closely to the other side of the carport and right up to the front.

Today the inevitable happened and i 'nudged' a wooden support at the front of the carport leaving a small indentation in the front spoiler and a little in the bumper itself. I may have nicked the PPF film also.
Do they repair bumpers or are they pretty much just replaced?

It's a bit of an 'Ugghhh' moment :-(

Sucks but looks very fixable from the picture. Find a Porsche approved collision center / body shop in your area and see what they say. They'll most likely remove the ppf, take the bumper off, patch and repaint. Shouldn't be that expensive to fix like new if it bothers you.

My Porsche VIP package even includes free parking dent repair where the paint isn't damaged. Well....technically its a parking dent!?!? I wonder if they'll honor it....
;-D

Im not far from putting it away for the Winter anyway so may get it looked at next Spring.

Thinking about putting it away for the winter already? That's a scary thought. I live in the northeast US and it's still 80 degrees here. I don't even want to think about snow.

Hi buddy

I'd probably just go for a smart repair on it. Doesn't look so serious. I think they would spend more time removing the PPF and reapplying it than actually fixing that.. Any competant bodyshop should be able to sort that, wouldn't go for Porsche just unneccesary expenditure...

That's plastic so it won't rust. And I don't think it would be real noticeable.

Everyone has to make up their own mind with respect to this sort of thing, but if it were my car, I'd just caulk it up to "road rash" and ignore it.

The side dents from your neighbor are another matter: those I'd fix.

I live in a ski resort and there's already fresh snow on the top of the mtns. I reckon I've got 4-6 weeks left and of that im going to be away for 3.
