Looks interesting but not real enthused with the rear wing mounts. Hopefully the rear wing design will improve before the RS goes into production.

Could the wing mounts just be temps for adjustability to dial in the angle/height/draft? They do look hideous.

That was my first impression, a work in progress, at least that is my hope. It looks like a home kit car of low sophistication.

In the .2 2RS/.2 3RS it is for brake cooling.

Vent for the front radiator and it also helps a bit how air travels over the car

See page 13 of the attached PDF......."these “NACAs” are being used in a series-produced Porsche vehicle to cool the brakes at this point for the very first time." Though, they probably improve air flow as well.

seems like Porsche is starting to really turn the Boxster/Cayman line into a serious performance car. Maybe the next gen 911 is helping make them more comfortable cranking it up a notch. It's a bit of a bummer the GTS wasn't more like 400hp, and then this one with 450 or so could have been the GT, but then you may not have room for an RS model.

The performane of my 718CS is serious enough for me. I drove NA-6 911 and was underwhelmed from its performance as a DD. I don’t live in a track to be always above 5k RPM. Below 4k the NA-6 is a yawner...
