For those of you that have taken delivery of your New GTS cars Caymans and Boxsters can you please let me know what tires came on your car and when you took delivery of your car. I have been tracking as many dealer pictures as possible and most GTS cars are coming with Michelin Sport 4S Tires on them lately. The early models had Pirelli P-Zero tires on them. Just curious if Porsche has gone to Michelin Tires exclusively on the GTS cars. Thanks

So far it seems that Michelin’s are the tires being used on GTS models being delivered now. All of the videos from the release date and early GTS models had Pirelli’s. I tried to specify Michelin’s on my order but was told that they could not guarantee what tires came on the car. It totally depended on what tires were in stock the day the car reached that point on the assembly line. It is good to see that Michelin’s new tires are being used on all of the GTS models. Thanks for everyone’s help with this information.

That is interesting, most of the early videos were from Europe and they had P-Zeros. But in watching the US deliveries the majority so far have been Michelin’s s. Thanks for the information

I just picked up my CGTS today and was slightly disappointed to find it was equipped with Goodyear tires. Not all U.S. GTS's are coming with Michelin's, apparently.

You are not the only one. The local Porsche dealer just got a loaded Sapphire Blue GTS with Goodyear tires as well. Maybe their supply of Michelin’s is getting low.

20" tires

I have 16,000 miles on my 20" Goodyears. I like the handling, but the noise on worn surfaces ( aggregate exposed ) is pretty bad. I think I'll get 20,000 out of these Goodyears and then I am going to buy the new Michelen PS4's.I have talked to some Cayman owners who bought the new Michelins and all have said that the tire noise is dramatically improved without any loss in handling. A "win win".

I picked up my Cayman GTS and thankfully it has Michelin’s on all four corners. We spoke to the instructors at Porsche Atlanta PEC and they all said that the Michelin’s had better grip than the Pirelli tires.
