I knew I was bound to miss something out on the configurator as I was trying to meet the order deadline..
Does anyone know whether the free (!) passenger storage net can be retrofitted? Also- if I'd read the details of each option properly I would chosen the Speed Limit Display (after nearly getting a ticket recently) - does anyone know if this is a software mod available as a retrofit? Thanks!

Is your order locked?

Are you talking about the Speed Limit Display function which allows you to set two limits?

I am pretty sure that's standard on all 718 models (my base Cayman has it and the only extra mine has is PDK).

It's easy to adjust for different speeds or disable (I disabled Limit 1 on mine and set Limit 2 at 85 mph).

Hi, thanks for the reply. It's described in the configator as

'Camera-based recognition of traffic signs with speed limits and no overtaking zones (start and end). Includes display on the colour screen in the instrument cluster and on the colour touchscreen of PCM'

I assume it uses the NAV like Waze (?) to flick up a warning if knows the location has say 50mph limits and you are exceeding that. Puzzled by the description of ' camera based' though....

Ahhh...OK, that's different. Mine is just a simple chime that will go off at two different, adjustable speeds.

Here's what I was referring to:

I realize your questions wasn't general retrofittable parts, but I thought I would toss this in just the same. I upgraded my Frunk to include these 2 items (first aid kit and warning triangle). I think I read somewhere that these items are standard in other parts of the world.

Where are you located? The camera based speed limit sign reading is not active/available in the US as far as I know.

I'm in the UK. I'm new to the forum - just updated my profile location..
The Sat Nav seems to be standard in the UK along with Connect plus.
Gotcha. I feel that unfortunately without checking that option your car will come without the necessary camera behind the windshield. See picture.

Edit:
Unless you did select the LED headlights with PDLS+. Then you'll at least have the camera. But in either case it's not just installing a simple software update I'm afraid.
