I have a GT Silver CGTS on order with the default black Carrera S 20” wheels... But I've always been a big fan of the 911 turbo wheels, less sporty looking perhaps but more classy in my opinion. As I'm already massively over budget on my configuration, I would need to remove the LED headlights (to non-PDLS version) to cover the cost (for me the headlights are more an aesthetic thing, I don't do a lot of night driving) Is it worth it? or do the Carrera S wheels work well with the GT Silver?

Do the standard Non-PDLS lights still have 4 dot day running lights?

I like the turbo wheels. When I hit the configurator, I had them on a GT Silver with the side intakes painted as well. That was on a Boxster of course ;) Actually I really like the turbo wheels they put on the 981. Been looking around for a set that doesn't cost more than the first new car I bought :)

There are three lights--standard (25 watts), PDLS (35 watts, turning beams, etc.) and PDLS+ (LED). There have been copious complaints about the standard lights.

AFAIK the 4 light riding lights are not on the standard lights.

(Unfortunately PCNA has taken down the complete on-line manual and put up some crap that has the wrong information on it. The real manual is there but only if you can manage to find the right search terms.)

I know for a fact that you need to upgrade to PDLS or PDLS+ to get the 4 point daytime running lights.
I chose the PDLS which is 35W xenon as the 25W xenon standard lights on the car I night tested before buying was almost useless.
I could have afforded the PDLS+ LED lights, but chose not to go with them as in my eyes the xenon lamp units looks better.
LED would however very likely be the superior lights (at least based on my current experience with LED headlights from other car manufacturers).

Thanks for the explanation. The configurator is not very clear on this topic!

Yeah, they certainly don’t come cheap, but to my eyes at least set the car off really well.
