Sorry, I haven't watched your video. I don't usually have the patience to watch videos online. I'll watch it when I get a chance. But I sympathize with your boredom suffering My sweetie (which is to say my wife of 42 years) and I spent today in our canoe then I took the 718 Cayman out for a 10 miles warm-it-up spin. I actually forgot that I have an iPhone in the center console to run CarPlay. When I got home and was jockeying cars around the driveway the Cayman cut off on me. For a moment I was afraid it had an engine issue until I remembered it has auto-stop/start. Yeesh. I needed that spin. Been working from home ( I do software) and I just haven't been driving anywhere.

Nice.
All it needs is a commentary on how sh*t the exhaust noise is.🤣

I owned a 2016 Boxster S and now own a 2018 Cayman and can say without reservation I like my 2018 4 cylinder turbo better including the exhaust note. In fact I like the 4 cylinder turbo so much I just ordered a 2021 Cayman T so not everyone agrees with your sh*t exhaust noise.

I am on my third 718, I too prefer the 4 pot to the 6.

I think a few people missed the 🤣. 🙂
Yep, have to admit I was a bit offended until I saw the laugh emoji. And then I thought, "These Aussies, they're just as into pasquinade as the Brits."

Survival in the real world by surviving in a virtual one!

I spent some time today watching the IMSA iRace at Watkins Glen. Really cool stuff! And nobody gets hurt when somebody makes a virtual mistake. Even more interesting than iNASCAR. Well, sportscar racing is always more interesting anyway.

My sweetie and I have been getting real exercise by bicycling through the virtual worlds of Zwift. (Prior to C-19 I was riding a bicycle for the 35 mile round trip between home and work.) It's a way to stay in shape and sane.

As a side note I will point out that as of today my sweetie and I have been married for 43 years.

Congrats on hitting 43 years, and obviously, she hasn't killed you yet! A testament to you both! Heading for 40 in December myself, although I think my wife is a little suspicious of Carmen the Cayman. She called my 1948 Willys CJ-2A "cute" and the 1968 MGB "pretty" but Carmen is "that little hussy" and other synonyms.

Let me be the first to offer you 6-month early congratulations! It's a great life to look backwards on and forward to. Well done, sir.

My sweetie absolutely loves my, err, excuse me, our Cayman. It was she who named her Portia.

On the subject if this thread's title, we took Portia out for a farm stand run today. Very comforting. Now I have been watching the Virtual Le Mans 24hrs on Sportscar365. All I can say is wow. You want quarantine escapism? This is it! Ah, there are still 15 hours to go. Plenty of fun, no waiting!
