I’m really interested to hear opinions. Personally I feel that the PDK in my 718 base is pretty **** good so I’m interested to hear how it might be better. Maybe making normal mode a little less “eco‘? I do track my car and I don’t have Sport+ so maybe there’s an upside for Sport mode on the track.

Now if we were talking PDK tune for the Macan, I would’ve already pulled the trigger. :)

PDK is great, but would prefer it to behave more like a MT on off throttle.

How does Cobb impact off throttle?

Already installed it few days ago. Can’t say anything bad but also nothing outstanding too.

The biggest advantage for me now is the race start (launch control) even for cars w/o sport chrono, like mine - love hard and fast starts.

Overall feeling is good - higher shift points... in normal and gentle style - feels more and predictable power. Also PDK doesn’t switch to very low RPMs which caused lags in some rare cases.

Idle creep disabled - miss it. A bit harder to park into garage with sill.

Does it cost $700? I would say no - twice less. But anyway I would buy it second time, because it polishes car, especially such tuned as mine.

Interesting discovery.

When I tried RaceStart (launch control), I used to release break pedal very fast, maybe a second after RPMs climbed up. I still felt a losing of traction and ESP light was flashing. And it seemed to be OK... And overall it was still fast (3.8-3.9s 0..60).

But yesterday for some reason I waited a additional second or two more (free road maybe) and car launched a way differently. It felt like my awd Macan - smooth, sliding start. COBB AP shows 3.7s, 1/4 - 12.01s , but car had full tank of gas. I hope the start time will go down even below 3.7, ideally repeating 3.6 when tank will be on its last quarter.

So, long story short. In next few days or week I’ll make all of measurements to detect all of benefits over stock PDK launches and timings, e.g. 1/4 with most aggressive setup from COBB. It is time to collect returns on this investment ;)
