I don't even have my car (base cayman) yet (this Thursday) and I'm already looking for mods! With zero track experience, I went to Roebling track with a friend and rode as a passenger for a couple of sessions in his ZO6. I met and talked to several Porsche owners there as well (CS, GTS, twin turbo, 944). I have to tell you that the track experience was addicting and I'm afraid that if I put my toe in that pond, it may result in a point of no return :). Really excited to get the car and maybe all of the aftermarket goodies to make it better for track. I have a really poor quality video/audio of a CS with a Fabspeed Streetsport Catback setup doing 140 mph in the straight if anyone is interested in hearing what their car will sound like at a distance at that speed and equipment.

These cars are fantastic on the track.

My biggest suggestion is to add camber in the front, either with camber plates or adjustable control arms. I use the tarett plates and they work great.

Not necessary for your first few track days, especially if you're not pushing it, but the car handles more sharply with ~2 degrees camber and it dials out the outer-edge tire wear these cars will put on from the factory.

Congratulations on your new ride! you're gonna love it!
