OPC would not let us out on a test drive unaccompanied. Upshot was we got to take out two different cars, individually accompanied - driven in convoy which was fun. After swapping over I immediately felt that one car was REALLY different... steering orientated. The SA had to check the car's specs back at base and she returned with a bemused expression admitting that there WAS a the difference. The one year old Boxster S did not have the PSP whereas the brand new GTS (12miles on the clock that was so wildly different in 'feel') was fitted with PSP. I pointed out to the SA that the PSP-less one I would not buy and the PSP-fitted one was brilliant. We ordered a 718 Cayman GTS specified with PSP along with lots of other stuff. PSP is such a no-brainer so-called option I wonder why Porsche even offer their cars without it.
I had it installed on my Boxster S last year at my local Porsche dealer. $565 total. ($336 for the software/license. $229 for 1 hour labor.
