Hi all,

Just bought a brand new Cayman T and I love it. The power the handling and the of course the sexy lines.

if there was one thing hat seems strange in the car is the level of squeaks and cabin noises at around the 2,000 rpm range when in 2 or 3rd gear. After some adjustments to the back hatch seems better but one noise is not going away.
When the A/C is on and the car is idle then there is a rattling noise that seems to be coming from the compressor. When I switch A/C off then it stops immediately, only to come back when A/C is turned on again.

I took to the dealer and they did some software checks saying that it should be OK, but it’s not. Will go again next week.

Any thoughts?

my dash makes a hissing sound. I'm guessing it's from the expansion valve.

Sounds like compressor short cycling. Too much refrigerant maybe. What’d it turn out to be?

next Wednesday the car goes in for a proper check / repair.

Unfortunately the service appointment was cancelled due to the virus so we have to wait a while till we get a reply!
