Hi everyone,
I thought I'd introduce myself. I recently acquired (3 days old) a new 2017 Cayman(base) model. I had owned previously a 1984 911 Carrera for 13 wonderful years and thought it was time to try something new in the Porsche model lineup, so I sold the air cooled 3.2 liter car. After some discussion with either a Boxster or Cayman, my wife and I opted for the hard top car. I did the Porsche configurator with my sales rep initially then fine tuned my setup to what it is now. Here it is below:
Sapphire Blue Metallic
TG Leather Interior with Sport-Tex Seat Centers in Graphite
Blue/Chalk
718 Model Designation "718"
625 Porsche Entry & Drive
480 6-speed Manual Transmission
475 Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM)
QR5 Sport Chrono Package
XLX Sport Exhaust System including Sport Tailpipes in Black
Exclusive
XRD 20" Carrera Sport Wheels Exclusive
457 Lane Change Assist
P13 Automatically Dimming Mirrors with Integrated Rain Sensor
858 GT Sport Steering Wheel
489 Heated Multifunction Steering Wheel
P04 Sport Seats Plus (2-way)
342 Seat Heating
583 Smoking Package
581 Luggage Net in Passenger Footwell
7UG Navigation Module for Porsche Communication Management
(PCM)
9VL BOSE® Surround Sound System
The dealer then installed:
Xpel Ultimate on the "full nose", rockers and rear bumper
Genesis windshield nanotech treatment
CarPro ceramic Paint sealant
I went with a 4 year Porsche prepaid service program and 4 year tire/wheel protection program as well to round things out.
Cheers folks!
