Ha...you are right. Never noticed it is plastic. Gets pretty warm after a drive - I just checked. Having that sanded and professionally painted I would guess should not cost more then $350-$400.Poor plastic.....
Johan, I presume that you are interested in doing this for purely esthetic purposes. I would be interested in what you ultimately decide and how it works as I am thinking about doing something to the cockpit aluminum trim, which is particularly reflective of sunlight on my drive.
The carbon fiber in my Cayman is stock and like real cf its pretty glossy but no reflections what so ever.I was thinking about wrapping the interior trim, but wouldn't the wrap, itself, be shiny in spite of the color or pattern of the wrap?
