Thanks for all the good wishes guys!

Nice looking car . No need to tell you to enjoy it. I already know you will
Yes, I have even been enjoying the lead up process over the last year or so and the long wait until Oct learning all about the cars and speaking to you guys online.

Having the GTS arrive is creating a whole new level. :)

Gorgeous car Don! Your taste is impeccable and beyond question! (my GT Silver CGTS is sitting at dealer lot waiting for clean-up and delivery)

When is your delivery date?
GT Siliver is a great color and timeless. Congrats on yours. You must post some photos when you pickup!

I picked up today and went for a short cruise and headed up North to a place called Palm Beach. Really too much traffic but I got a few twisties in and just rolled through a few tight fast corners and felt like the PTV kicked in a little pivoting the car through the corner. You really have to be committed. My wife was pleasantly surprised and said it felt much safer than our old RS4! I'd imagine with a bit of throttle control and skill it would feel even better!

Here some photos from todays delivery! :)

Congrats on the successful pick up. And it is great to hear you (and the wife) are enjoying the car ?

Did you go via McCarrs Creek Road on the way to Palm Beach? Imo it is the closest 'fun' road to our location.

Thanks..

I know that road and I agree it is a great road, as well as the detour to Akuna Bay via General San Martin Drive, as long as you can pick a time with no cyclists! Weekdays around 8am onwards is pretty good.

We didn't have a lot of time and had to get back for school pickup so did a short run up Barrenjoey Road up to Bilgola Beach then back home.

Congrats!

Looks like I've found my twin "down under"!

Beautiful spec! But I may be a bit biased... :D

I really like the OP's car...but they put the steering wheel on the wrong side.

I'm picking mine up on Thursday, April 24. Should be fun....Except trading in a '19 Carrera T and getting a few bucks back. The T is a wonderful car, but it's not near as fun. One short drive and I knew the 718GTS had the mojo I'd been missing.

Can't wait.

Congrats on your new car and great value that you are getting money back on the change over. I think the 718 GTS is probably a little bit better than the Carrerra T although the RAS option does improve the 911 in the winding roads.

Yes, the steering wheel! It is a shame we can't all drive on the same side of the road! Must create havoc in some situations.

Here's my latest photos down at Akuna Bay in Sydney Australia. The GT Silver does look really nice in the morning light.

I'd have to say the 718 GTS also looks a little better than the Carrera T!

And nice clean look on the rear with just the GTS badge.

firstly clearly the steering wheel is on the right side of the car

secondly congrats on picking up a great car in a great colour - some bias admitted
