This post http://www.718forum.com/forum/32058-post19.html shows my solution.
I have had my Porsche for 6 months and although I purchased a front tow hook plate (from cravenspeed) I have never installed it and have been riding around without any issue (ticket). Why didn't you try a front tow hook plate?I live in New Jersey where we are forced to have a front license plate.
I've been messing around the last few days and here's how I ended up doing mine.

I did mock one up and looked at a number of photos of them. And I like the idea that there's no drilling or mods to the car.......Why didn't you try a front tow hook plate?......
Non taken......I have no stock in cravenspeed or any of their productsBut in the end, no offense, I don't really like the look of the tow-hook mount.
Mounting off center looks odd to everyone but again it is, as I have stated, a matter of personal preference. For me at least it's the lesser of two evils.Mounting it off center looks very odd to me. I would rather drill holes.
I fully understand your point. I have to say it sort of killed me to drill that hole. (even though it was only one hole about 0.150")........It's all personal preference....as with nineball placing a drill hole in the Porsche, for me at least, would be unacceptable.....
My point is, I would rather have 2 small hidden holes in the front end that no-one can see, rather than have a beautiful Porsche looking odd because of the strange placement of the license plate.Mounting off center looks odd to everyone but again it is, as I have stated, a matter of personal preference. Let me tell you my opinion, again my opinion, I think a plate dead center or off to the side is ugly. Therein explains the reason my tow hook mount is still boxed up. I personally, again to be clear we are talking about our personal preferences, would not buy a "pre-owned Porsche" with the front plate holes. Clearly, your opinion differs but that does not negate the way some Porsche owners feel, and I fully understand you have the right to drill however many holes in your car you feel are appropriate and/or necessary. My point is, I would rather have 2 small hidden holes in the front end that no-one can see, rather than have a beautiful Porsche looking odd because of the strange placement of the license plate.
Seriously? You would not buy a car that has front plate holes? That’s a first. You know how many holes are already drilled in a Porsche?Let me tell you my opinion, again my opinion, I think a plate dead center or off to the side is ugly. Have to agree to this!I would only mount a front license plate in the center of the car. Mounting it off center looks very odd to me. I would rather drill holes. It’s not like anyone is going to see them.
