Picked up a 2017 Cayman S in early February 2018. A never titled 5,200 mile PCNA corporate car from Atlanta (I presume based on data in GPS). It was an "impulse" purchase of sorts. Had my '99 Boxster (Arctic Silver/Boxster Red Leather purchased new in Nov '98 and will be keeping) in for a minor fix and was killing time by looking at the new and used cars. Caymans have always looked great to me but the 718 is extremely appealing in an aggressive kind of way. This car looked great in its Black w/ Leather Package in Black/Bordeaux Red. Other options included; PDK (a must have), PASM (20mm), 20" Carrera wheels, Premium Package and Sport Chromo Package to name a few. Went back 3 days later for a test drive. and a week after that went back for another look with the wife and bought it. For me, that is an impulse purchase.

I can only hope it is as dependable as my 100,000+ mile 986. Most reliable car I have ever owned.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new 718! How are you finding it in comparison to your Boxster? I would expect it to be every bit as reliable.
