My Son and I are going.We will be everywhere, but our seats are in the Rolex 24 Lounge. It will be the first and last time I pay $700/ticket for anything. I just said the **** with it (aka: carpe diem) and bought them. Upscale buffet, brand name open bar, and private seating inside and outside.I grew up in Daytona and remember when Pedro Rodriguez won the then 24 hours of Daytona in a 917. Matra and the Sunoco Ferrari (Mark Donahue) were competitors as well.

Hope to see some Porsche fans at the race!

I haven't decided. If I go it will be via general admission so unlikely I could get to your location. Like you, grew up in Daytona and usually knew someone who had free passes so I got spoiled early with cheap entertainment. However, $700 will be money well spent if the weather is inclement. I've been there (infield) with a steady and cold rain .
