Just got home from there. Packed with a lot of great cars. Saw a black Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and it's moved to the top of my want list. 0:)
My wife and I saw your car there but there didn't seem to be anyone near it so we didn't see you. Your car looks awesome. Hopefully we can meet up at another event (and this time I'll have my 718 Boxster).

Too bad, would've liked to meet you guys. I was walking around looking at all the eye candy with a couple of friends. You saw how crowded it was and how many exotic cars, I went back to my car at one point and a gentleman advised me that a bird had crapped on my beloved GTS. I believe my car was the only one Birded. Luckily I had a bottle of water and a microfiber. Wouldn't have been too good having it bake on that black paint. :D

Good call having the bottle of water and microfiber. Did you have any paint protection applied to your car? I am having Gtechnic and Expel applied by Rush Group in St. Charles when I get my car.

No paint protection. I'm not a big believer in it. I've had a bunch of black cars over the years and I've learned the biggest hazard to cars, front end dings and chips can be totally avoided by not following cars in front of you closely. I'm retired and my cars are not daily drivers. I avoid high traffic areas like Randall road like the plague. New tire technology makes the tires today very sticky and cars are constantly shedding the fine road grit and as long as you stay back, this fine stuff loses energy fast and becomes harmless. Ride up on the ass of the guy in front of you and you'll get a nice sandblast job.
