I was just at our first PCA autocross in Norcal for this season and a guy in a fairly stock 2014 Cayman S got top PAX time out of about 60 cars running on 245/40 18 and 275/40 18 Advan A052, so they definitely work well. The VAST majority of the folks doing well were on the RE71R as that is know as the go to tire. Clearly the Advan is quite good to bests them all. Certainly the gentleman can drive, but he did say that it was his first event on them and was still working on tire pressures etc.
