In 1974 I bought a new 914 - 2.0, and loved the flexibility/ durability of the hardtop. I think the Targa top looks delicious on a Boxster. Maybe this will come to fruition.

A Boxman or Cayster ^^How do you know it's a Boxster? Maybe it's a Cayman.

Read the name the author labeled the car. "718 Boxster targa". That's what I went with. Anyway, who cares? Either model would have to go under a significant redesign to fit the targa roof/ glass.How do you know it's a Boxster? Maybe it's a Cayman.

Oh I was just kidding. The link is to the pic only. No article that I can see, though I would like to read it. I thought maybe the artwork was yours and you titled it that way. A targa would be interesting on this platform. But then again it would compete with the "real targa" in Porsches eyes.

Read my post (# 1). I had a 914 targa. Believe me, although a blast to drive, it was in NO WAY in competition with the 911 targa. Two completely different cars in both handling and buyer class. A Boxster/ Cayman targa will not step on the toes of a 911 targa as again, they are completely different, and appeal to different buyers.
