I just got AG Rugar Mesh 20” with Michelin 4SPS. 20x8.5et45 245/35 front, 20x11et52 275/35 rear.

Don’t mind the center caps, dealer put my old ones on.

Was thinking of getting lowering springs but I don’t think it will make the car that much better. Car still is very comfortable and compliant, harder to oversteer now which is ok by me.

Those are what I’m looking at. Why less oversteer do you think? I prefer that vs understeer. And why put 245 and 275 tires? Curious since I’ll be using 235 and 265 widths from my current Carreras. 30mm difference on both so understeer / oversteer shouldn’t change, theoretically.

At 235/265 gave a larger speedo error (about 3%) vs my set up (which is closer to stock and only 0.4% error)

As for the oversteer, this is more seat of my pants as it feels like it takes a little more to get the rear end loose. I was riding on my 18” and knew how to break the rear loose, maybe just not used to my new tires.

Overall loving my setup and surprisingly comfortable (and NY/NJ have bad roads). Not harsh at all. Was thinking about TechArt springs but not getting them.

I wonder what sizes/offsets are possible with these Apex wheels on a 718 GTS? It would be nice to have a set for track days.
Well there are a few options if you can run an 18" wheel coming shortly.

An 18x9 ET46 and 18x10 ET36 work well on 987/981 so that's a good starting point. 18" wheels can be tough to fit on the 718 S models due to brake clearance. Good news is Apex spent a lot of time designing these wheels specifically to offer lots of brake clearance for the Porsche.

Front info:
  • OEM 380mm 6-pot PCCB - fits 18x8.5" ET42 & 18x9" ET46 only
  • Brembo 1M1.9007A1, 380mm 6-pot - fits 18x8.5" ET42 & 18x9" ET46 only
  • Brembo 1M1.9004A1, 355mm 6-pot - fits all
  • StopTech 83.780.4700.61 355mm 4-pot - fits all

Just found this 918 look wheel....my favorite so far, although I'm not familiar with the manufacturer (Victor Equipment)
Victor Equipment only makes wheels for Porsches. It's owned by TSW. It's a mid-end wheel; prices range from the low $200s to $1k per wheel. Quality is good, but they tend to be heavy, even for forged.

At that price point, I'd opt for OZs unless you're dead-set on a forged set.
