After looking into different options finally decided to go with the hidden hitch from gururack. I have attached few pictures of the hitch and bike rack in action. I had to use the 1upusa single bike rack in reverse fashion to lower the bike rack. It is an enjoyable drive in the morning to get to my group bike ride. This was custom fabricated by Oliver (hobbyist) and his friend peter (retired engineer), a big thank you to them.

I was actually looking for the typical rack hitch and was surprised to see just how inconspicuous yours was. Looks great!

Wow looks like a great system. Do you have any photos of how it actually attaches to the car including mounting bracket? Looks like it is normally for a tow bar.
