After a 7 months wait, the black beauty arrived beginning of March and has driven through the mostly rainy and cloudy german weather. Some pics here still in winter tires ... i will change them mid of April and will update you with some "sunnier".

Some specs: CGTS, 6MT, Sport-Tex Seats, 20" Carrera S Wheels (soon), PDLS+, Porsche Connect & Apple CarPlay - Needles to say that it has been a gorgeous ride so far (especially with rev matching in Sport Mode) although i still have some "rev constraints" ;)

Enjoy. Pics are "slightly retouched" ...

Congratulations with the mean lean blacked out machine!
You did a good job on the options, like the Sport-tex seats and the stitching ;)
Wish you many safe km's and may the break-in be over soon!

From the thread title I was expecting black wheels? I personally don't care for black wheels so I prefer the look of the way you've optioned it. Congrats!

2 years ago I could not find any examples of “sport tex” seating to evaluate and wound up with all leather. Care to share your opinion on the feel and comfort? Very nice ride!
Hey Grozk - i find the Sport-Tex seats great. They provide a good grip and feel good - and they have this slightly old-fashioned look, which i personally prefer over the leather option - makes the car more sporty / classic. The Sport-Tex seat have at the sides genuine leather (unlike the basic leather seats - strange but true) and they come in the GTS with the interior leather "stitched" package. So overall for me it was more an "optical" decision - i just like them - and not a comfort or grip or anything else option. I have the heated (but not ventilated) option. I was told - but have to wait for a personal opinion - that they are also better in summer when it gets warmer.

But as you pointed out you barely find them - just look into the 718 or 911 T Models - they also have the Sport-Tex seats.

What winter tires came with the car? Mine came with summer tires which were not great during the winter this year, so I'm curious what Porsche installs for winter tires. Thx.
Hey msacks - actually you have to buy the winter tires yourself. For the 718 GTS there is not (or at least was not in 01.2019) a manufacturer that provides rims that have a TÜV (technical service in Germany) approval in Germany other than Porsche Tequipment.
So this are the 19´rims with ContiWinterContact TS830p tires. I actually had the same on my BMW ... they are OK.

Hope that helps.
