So I am considering a Boxster but I had one question that my dealer and PCNA has not been able to definitively answer and I totally forgot to check out for myself during the test drive.

When streaming audio from a phone via bluetooth, if I press the mute button on the multi-function steering wheel, is the audio paused or is it just muted but it continues to play the track?

It would depend on the app/source you're playing from. If it has the capability to pause (i.e. local music library on your phone), it will do so. But if it's a streaming service that doesn't support pausing, then it wouldn't work.

If I understand what you are saying, it is app dependent on the phone side?

For example, with my current vehicle, if I am streaming Google Play Music and hit the mute button on my car, it pauses the track on my phone. From what you are saying, if it does this on my current vehicle then it should also react the same on the Porsche?
