When I open a text message on my car screen, it won't be on my handheld mobile to reply to later. Is there something in Settings either on the android phone or in the car to avoid this annoyance?

That is strange. I usually can't open a text, as the car is moving, so the PCM will not allow it. I will try to replicate your problem next time I am in the car.

Mine opens messages fine but once opened they won't appear on my phone later. I think the same with phone calls don't appear in the actual phone's history.
