June C&D comparison of Z4 and Boxster again speaks to the tangible and intangible virtues of the 718 platform. Despite being a rather oddly optioned Boxster base with a manual, the Porsche looks pretty good against the BMW. C&D is now even speaks almost complementary of the turbo 4 (other than their strange comments about lag-with the manual which I find a bit at odds with my own experience as well as the comments of others as most have spoken of the “lag” more pronounced with the PDK).
