Thanks for indulging my schizophrenic nature. I am ready to submit my FINAL build code.
For months, I have been locked on a Miami Blue exterior with full black leather and yellow deviated stitching and yellow seat belts. I saw the yellow stitching interior on a Viper Green GT4 and it is awesome.

Today, my long time friend (with good taste in colors) told me he saw a Miami Blue Cayman with the Bordeaux full leather- and he thought it was spectacular.

I have an old Porsche code with that exact combination: PKXEIRD6

Does anyone have the Miami Blue/Bordeaux leather combination? Any regrets?

i have the miami blue with the black/dark grey interior and really really like it. It's just my taste but I don't like the interiors that are all red or all beige. I like the chalk interior but it will be a pain to keep clean.

Wish I'd done the chalk interior on my Miami Blue. I did Blue seatbelts and added the center console trim in Miami when I took delivery (ordered from Suncoast) but I wish I'd done those seats. Can't imagine Bordeaux looking good against Miami Blue though.

If I have a vote, I would go for the yellow stitching/MB that you originally chose. ;-)

I like bright colors but I find the MB/Bordeaux a bit strong. Graublau (IIRC) with reddish interior used to be a classic Porsche combo but I think the Miami is bright on it's own.

Just my two cents which is worth zilch.

(Full disclosure: MB with yellow stitching/T package would have been my choice if I bought a 911T but since I went for a 718 GTS I opted for the racing yellow with red stitching GTS package ,so obviously I am not afraid of color. My Macan has red interior ( black ext.))

Well to be honest ... Not my choice - but i ordered Jet Black with SportTex - so quite the other side of the road. Personally i do not like the Bordeaux interior - but if - i see it rather with GT Silver or Black or really old school with White (in fact there is an older cayman near my office and is white with the Bordeaux interior)... but no - i would not. Miami blue looks really cool with the Graphite Blue/Chalk interior.

Good Luck with your choice and enjoy your ride ;)

I wouldn't go with Miami Blue and Bordeaux. My wife and I actually talked about it when we were considering Sapphire Blue or Miami Blue. Definite no go for use and we ended up with Agate Gray and the Bordeaux and Black leather interior. It looks awesome. For Miami blue I would go with black or a gray color interior. Let the paint stand out and shine on it's own.

I have Sapphire Blue with Leather Package in Black/Bordeaux Red (2018 model). I love the look of it. I got some red coco-mats to give the interior a little more color. I don't care for light color interiors but wanted something other than just plain black. I also find the Miami blue a little too light. I know blue exterior/red interior is polarizing. Some people say it looks like Superman's car. I don't care. It looks good to me and I'm the one in it. Maybe I should get some yellow accents and then put a giant Superman logo on the front, just to play with the joke. I say get the car you want to drive and not the car everyone else wants you to drive.

Exactly the kind of feedback this forum needs. First hand observations. Thank you!
thanks

I plan to post a number of pictures of my visit to the museum - probably at the weekend - no photos allowed of the factory sadly as it was fascinating

I think Miami Blue with Bordeaux Red and Black interior combination would look good. I saw a Saphire Blue with the Bordeaux Red/Black interior and that looked great. All Bordeaux red is just too much red.

By the way I think the Miami Blue is a great colour but my daughters told me I am not allowed to order it as I am over 50 - they told me you have to be younger!

Agree on the all Bordeaux Red. My dealer has a 2016 Boxster Spyder in and the all Bordeaux interior is just a bit much. Shame as it has some great options including the Burmester sound system.
