Hello, I have owned boxsters for the last 6 years. I presently own a 2005 S and a 2016 Spyder. Looking into adding the 718 Spyder to the collection. I have experience within the Porsche community as a Social Media Chairman, and a member of the modding community and have advised on over 300 builds for all models in the marque.

Welcome @Arione! Lot of custom builds and subsequent mods here. My signature lists my modest 2019 base Cayman build and elsewhere I discuss my own aero and a few other mods, but I haven't done anything that couldn't easily be undone. So, I guess I'm a modest mod-er.

I have an 05 Boxster S too. Love that car. Had it for about 13 years and no desire to move on. I think one reason I’ve never addressed the IMS issue is because the only reason I’ll get rid of the car is when the engine implodes. It’ll give me an excuse to buy something different.

Even though I have a 718CGTS, the Boxster is so different, I enjoy keeping both.

On paper, I have been speccing out an air-cooled 911 hot rod build. I’m out of garage space right now so would need to build a garage first. Also not thrilled about 1) how long it will take me...I’m pretty slow and 2) the mistakes and wrong decisions I will make along the way, only to have to backtrack or pay to do things twice. I think I am more Interested in the final product than the process. Still mulling it over. I’m also not a fan of the financial black hole that I might fall into.
