Hi all, just passed 3k miles in my 2018 Cayman S that I bought a few months ago. Just loving the car, what a blast to drive. Recently, I have noticed a slight brake squeal at low speeds, that I can only hear with the windows down. I checked the brakes, and as you would expect with just 3k miles and no track driving the brake pads and rotors look new. I called my service advisor and he said this is very normal for "race inspired brakes", and all they need is a few very hard stops to stop the squeal. Admittedly, I am very easy on the brakes and per the above have not tracked it yet. Normal or should I go get it checked out?
