Issues I noticed with the car that as of today that I took care of it:

1. Poor base headlights systems. Solution: 35w bulbs system as explained in another thread. Fixed. Not an issue any more. Perfect night visibility.

2. Poor initial brake bite (Steel brake system). Solution: Pagid RSL-29 brakes all around with bigger GiroDisc rotors and Castrol SRF fluid. More aggressive initial bite and modulation is perfect. Was very careful bedding them. No brake noise on everyday usage. Plus 19 wheels and Bridgestone RE-71r in 255/35/19(F) and 285/35/19(R). Car turns and change directions like it is on rails. Brakes grab right away and feel solid. I’m used to late and hard braking.

3. Worthless Pirelli tires. After 600 miles three of them developed sidewall blisters. Solution: Switched to 20” Michelin's 4S. Also have a set of 19” wheels as stated above.

Future mods:

Adjustable GT-3 adjustable sway bars. Not really necessary. Just wants to have the adjustability so I can play a little with it. No big adjustments needed. Just fine tuning for my personal way of driving.

More power definitely needed. Nothing crazy. 475hp and 425tq will be perfect. Now that it seems Cobb’s is dead in the water with our platform I’m waiting on Cargraphics and Ehresmann to come out with Stage #???. Hopefully it will have: Cargraphics equal length manifolds and high flow cats downpipe, BMC filters and most important of all, a true and tried tune maximizing these hardware.

It will be expensive, specially with Ehresmann way of using/tuning an extra new ECU, but if it comes close to attaining 475 reliable hp without overheating and/or going into lean mode I’m all in. I know Cargraphics already has the hardware. The ball is in Ehresmann court as far as the tuning needed even if 100octane race gas is required. Fingers crossed.

So I'm a bit confused - which wheels are you running on?
I’m using the 20” original Carrera wheels. I just put higher sidewall tires on them 245/35/20 front and 275/35/20 and switch to xtra load(xl)Pilot Sport 4s. The Pirelli are std. load.

But also has another set of oem Porsche 981 Carrera Sport 19” set: 8.5” front with 255/35/19 RE71r and 10” rears with 285/35/19 RE71r for PCA driving schools.

Why is Cobb's tune dead?
Because, Mitch, their lead Porsche tuner/developer quit some weeks ago to concentrate on his own tuning company, mostly Mclaren. So it is my opinion and I sure which that I’m wrong, that it will take Cobb some time to jump start and continue their development. Cobb’s OTS programs are for stock car and right now there is no protune available to deal with additional mods. Time will tell.
