Did anyone get the carbon fiber steering wheel? Happy with it?

Based on the lack of response, I'm guessing I'm the only one who likes the look of the carbon fiber steering wheel. Has anyone ever had a carbon fiber steering wheel? Are there any issues with them in terms of comfort or functionality that I should be aware of?

For those of you who have never seen the 718 c/f steering wheel you can see it at the 2:20 mark of this video. My build has the same ext./int. color combo.

I have one on a Macan. It's fine. If your eyes were shut you'd think it was a heavily lacquered wood steering wheel. Some people say that it gets too hot in the sun but I always use a sun shade (even when cloudy) and have never had a problem. If you have the heated option it warms up better than the leather.

I opted for the carbon fiber steering wheel. I will receive my car in a few weeks, so I can not say that I used it. However, I ordered it because in the summer of 2017 a friend of mine lent me his beautiful Ferrari 488 GTB four times. So I drove it for four days in total. It had the carbon fiber steering wheel option and I loved it. In fact, your hands do not touch the carbon fiber itself, but the lacquer on it. I must say that hands adhere much more than on leather. I love the look, the grip and when you opt for the heated option, the carbon fiber parts heat up too.

I plan to get carbon fiber trim for my build. (See it in the flesh, it is expensive but looks fantastic.) Adding carbon fiber steering wheel, I feel, would be a bit over the top. Plus, I like having the same material slide through my fingers as it turns, so the grip does not change.

...I'm with the crumudgeons...CF wheel gets too hot. I test drove a used '15 Turbo S that had been sitting in the sun. It was Agate Gray with Expresso leather and full CF interior... Holy cripes!!! The CF wheel was HOT! Like, wear gloves only hot.

I knew I wasn't going to buy it because the thing sat outside for a month in the hot sun at the dealer...It was a nice test drive and put me on the hunt for one. I got over it. Ended up with a new Carrera T...which I sold to buy my '18 Cayman GTS...Which is, to my way of judging cars...a better car.

I test drove a '15 Turbo S. It had Expresso Natural Leather and Carbon Fiber dash. The interior was lovely EXCEPT for the CF steering wheel. I don't like the look...overdone? Also, they get really HOT in the sun. I mean, like you will burn your hands if you touch it hot. So...I would never pay for this option if ordering. I keep my car mostly out of the sun so I would live with it if I owned a car with one, but I don't think it's anything one should order. I would get Sport GT or even normal sport wheel with the controls and heat...and be done with it. Looks better in black leather to my eyes...and definitely feels better.
