No direct experience with both but like the fact that Carmax gives you 7 days to take the car, drive it and get a PPI and if you do not like what is found can return the car. They also have a warranty that ca.n be added to the car (for a price obviously). Prices seem a little on the high side though for some cars.

What he said!

On the flip side of the pricing, I've found several cars (not just Porsche's) that were listed on Carvana incorrectly. i.e. a Cayman S listed and priced as a base cayman and a Z06 that was listed as a base Stingray. Seems that when it comes to high end cars, they don't quite get the complexities of options and trim levels. It's all done by VIN, so someone has to be manipulating the data somewhere?

Either way, I've heard that Carvana is really easy to work with and like Carmax they offer 7 days. But Carvana is a refund and I thought Carmax was a credit?

Have posted this before, but I had an excellent experience buying my '17 Boxster Base from Carmax. Had 8,000 miles, excellent condition and 33% off the window sticker. Took it to my local dealer for inspection and it passed with flying colors. The only surprise was the unknown to me prepaid service contract from Porsche, good thru 2021!
