Hi 718 forum !

Just wondered if everyone's 718 was producing this kind of marks when parked ?

Allways in the same spot, in the center between the end of the pipes and where the engine is.

Might sound a very silly question - I never noticed my other cars doing that so I thought here might be a good place to ask !

She is 2 month old - if this is any relevant.

My first thought is the A/C drain.
Although, I dont know for certain where the drain hose is located.

The evaporator is in the front of the car, though. so i doubt it's from A/C. I would think it's condensation in the exhaust.

Could be. Short trips? That don't get the engine and exhaust up to temperature long enough to evaporate the water that is part of the exhaust gasses?

About 45 min long trips, my comute to work.
I didnt think looking after longer trips, will check that too.
...so nothing to worry about it seems im any case... right ?

Does it have an oily feel (even though you say it's watery)? I'd be concerned if it has any oily feel to it at all.
Are you parked on an incline with the tailpipe pointing down?

I didnt taste it but on touch it doesnt seem oily, parked pretty flat.

My CS always leaves a trail in the summer when I enter my garage from the incline into my garage.
Either AC condensation or coolant overflow which you can tell by the smell.
It usually happens when I have service at dealer and they top off coolant.
Neither is an issue to worry about/.

I'd hazard to say that its plain condensation. If in doubt, ask your OPC for peace of mind.

The question have been up before.
If i remember correct, the drain is in the front offcoarse and drips on the plastic shield thats under the car.
So the water can end up pretty much anyware befor it drips to the ground...

Did you ever figure out what was causing the leak?

I have a new 718 Cayman and it’s doing the same thing- dripping water from the pipe connecting the two mufflers. There are brackets holding the pipe and the water Is leaking from between the bracket and the pipe.
