I am sorry for one more silly question. Any suggestions on a child seat for my Cayman? My 3 1/2 always wanted a ride in daddy's car and from time to time I want to pick him up without needing to drive him to switch car first. Since wife refused to sit in my cayman (long story), getting a car seat on the passenger side seems to be a good option. I can't find much information on car seats... The older models require a key to turn off airbags, but someone once told me the new one auto sense. Apologies if this was asked before or if I am completely insane :)

The passenger seat has a weight sensor that will disable the airbag if it doesn't detect enough weight (80 lbs, maybe??). I put my 8 year old's booster seat in the car fine, but there aren't any of the typical LATCH anchor points in the seat base. Also, the side bolsters on my standard 2 way sport seats did make it a tight fit for the booster seat because of its cup holders.

I would definitely suggest you test fit the seat and gauge for yourself if you feel your child will be secure enough for your risk tolerance. My wife was hesitant at first, but was able to get on board with letting me take my son out in the Cayman after she inspected the seat herself.

I have different stickers in Europe :) one that says I can’t have the little one backwards. Anyways I checked with the dealer, he says it should be ok, Dutch drivers association also says as long as the seat is as far backwards as possible it should be ok.

What about a 3 in 1 car seat? It's like you buy one but get two with a SuperLATCH System and SafeStop Harness. One of my friends with three kids bought one and he was like awesome invention. I booked too one from cutelittledarling.com, I'm waiting for a baby boy. Reading the reviews and opinions, I said it to give it a try. It fits to the child's hight, so I hope it will last when my boy will have three years. A good investition, isn't it?
