Latest issue has the python green Boxster GTS 4.0 and a 904 GTS. A nice shoot shoot in Rijeka, Croatia on the Adriatic. Both cars are gorgeous. Of course they hype up the sound of the flat six. The gist of including the 904 GTS is that it was the first GTS, from which all other GTS's followed. The article FINALLY mentions the 904 GTS was a FOUR cylinder mid engine. Hmmm... it seems the 718 GTS 2.5 is closer in spirit to the original.

I got to see an original 904 /4-cam up-close a few weeks ago. Still has the original, ultra-complex engine.
We were looking at the owner's collection.
They also own the most original '62 Ferrari 250 GTO on the planet.
I can't imagine what the 904 is worth but the Ferrari is probably close to $100 million.
